High tech and we feel safe while riding in the Rav. We love the high tech equipment and the Hybrid system as well as the stylish look. ia coast via freeway and winding country roads. It actually gets better gas mileage on the freeway, contrary to what Toyota advertised. Made several trips to Lake Tahoe and mileage remains pretty steady. Uphill it drops to 41.8 mpg, downhill goes back to 42.3. This is the base model with AWD, all season Michelin tires, all the safety goodies including steering assist (lane keep), adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and auto high beams. Can't say enough good things about it. Prior Toyota vehicles included my 2005 Tacoma PreRunner TRD and my wife's 2002 Highlander V6. Both went over 160,000 miles with zero problems. We expect the same from our two new RAV4s. Needless to say, happy owners.
